– ZOEY

Our newest addition
to our family ...
Zoey!
Zoey came to us
through Loree Levy
at Toy Breed Rescue
in San Jose.
We met Zoey on a
Saturday and an hour
later, took her
home.
She immediately
melted into my son,
Spencer's arms. She
is happy to sit
contently in his
lap, on his
wheelchair.
We had been looking
for a dog for at
least a year. We
knew we wanted a
Shih Tzu, for their
mild manner with
children and sweet
demeanor.
Our son
has cerebral palsy,
so he
spends a lot of time
in his wheelchair. Zoey sits happily on
his lap while he
pets her and gives
her hugs. She also
sleeps with him at
night. |

Our younger son,
Eric is a bit scared
of dogs, but after
having Zoey for just
a week, Eric has
warmed up and loves
to chase
Zoey and play with
her.
Zoey loves
hanging with us at
home. She now has a
large fenced in back
yard where she loves
to roam. She likes
car rides, going for
walks, and chewing
on her new treats we
got her. She is a
cuddler, and is
totally potty
trained which was
important.
When she came home
with us, it felt as
if she'd been with
us for years. Thank
you so much for
finding the perfect
dog for our family.
We are so much
happier with our
cute little doggie
in our life.

My son,
Spencer beams
whenever Zoey is
near or especially
on his lap. He
finally got his dog! We got the best pet
we could have ever
hoped for!
