SUCCESS STORIES – MAX SOUZA

In April 2014 Max was brought in to Mercy Pet Hospital in Citrus Heights to be euthanized.

The vet, Dr. Tripp, assessed Max. He had severe matting, infections and gnats in both ears, a pyoderma on his back filled with maggots, itchy paws that he was constantly licking and biting, and was 14.5 pounds.

Dr. Tripp convinced the family to surrender Max where they took care of him. From there he went to the ASPCA and then to TOY BREED RESCUE where they protected him, loved him, and kept Max safe till he could find a forever home ... and gained weight to a healthy 16.9 pounds!

My husband and I adopted him June 2014 and he is spoiled rotten with the best snacks, food, groomers, vet care and hugs and kisses. He will never want for anything ever again. Money is no object!

Thank you Toy Breed Rescue for the compassion and dedication to these loving creatures. We are so in love with our special Max. <3
